We advised the German logistics group L.I.T. on the acquisition of the transport logistics business unit of van Eupen Logistik GmbH & Co. KG, a subsidiary of GRUPO SESÉ. With this acquisition, L.I.T. Group expands its presence in beverage logistics. “By acquiring the transportation business of van Eupen Logistik GmbH & Co. KG, we are creating strong synergies, pooling valuable expertise and systematically expanding our position in a market segment that is strategically important to us”, says Simeon Breuer, Managing Director of L.I.T. Speditions GmbH and member of the L.I.T. Executive Board. The transportation logistics division of van Eupen Logistik employs a total staff of around 120 who will bolster the L.I.T. Group’s team at various locations. It operates a fleet of 85 truck units and 110 specialized trailers. Integrating the business within L.I.T. operations is expected to strengthen its operational performance. L.I.T. Group offers comprehensive logistics solutions along the entire supply chain, employing over 4,000 people at more than 100 locations in 14 countries.
